We do NOT collect: Personal information, contact details, or any data that could identify you personally.

Data Storage and Security

Your academic data security is our highest priority. We offer two secure storage options for your convenience and data safety:

• Local Storage (Default): All academic data, GPA entries, and custom grading systems are stored securely on your device using Android's internal storage. No internet connection is needed to access or use your data.
• Google Drive Backup (Optional): If you choose to sign in with your Google account, your academic data can be securely backed up to your private Google Drive. This allows seamless data restoration across devices.
• Secure Sign-In: Google Sign-In is used solely for cloud backup and restore. We do not access your contacts, calendar, or personal files.
• Encryption: Both local and cloud-stored data are encrypted using Android and Google Drive’s built-in security protocols.
• No Unauthorized Access: Only you can access your cloud-stored data via your Google account. We do not view, store, or transmit your academic information to our own servers.
• App Sandbox: The app runs in Android's secure sandbox environment to prevent unauthorized access by other apps.
• Regular Security Updates: We actively update the app to stay aligned with the latest Android security standards.

Third-Party Services

We use minimal third-party services to provide essential app functionality:

• Google Play Services: For app distribution and basic analytics
• Google Analytics for Firebase: For anonymous usage statistics (no personal data collected)
• Crashlytics: For anonymous crash reporting to improve stability

These services operate independently and have their own privacy policies. No personal or academic data is shared with them.

Your Rights and Choices

You maintain complete control over your data:

• Data Access: View all your academic data in-app anytime
• Data Export: You can manually export or back up your GPA calculations and settings
• Data Deletion: Uninstalling the app removes all stored data
• Custom Settings: Full control over grading schemes and table entries
• Analytics Opt-out: You can disable usage analytics from app settings
• Ad Preferences: Control ad personalization through Google’s ad settings on your device

Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

We understand that many students using our app may be under 18 years old. We are fully committed to protecting minors' privacy:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age
• The app does not contain social features, chat, or communication functionality
• No personal information is required to use any features
• Parents can review usage and delete all data by uninstalling the app
• We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
• If we become aware of any personal information from a child, we immediately delete it

International Data Transfer

Since GPA Calculator & Planner operates offline by default:

• No academic data is transferred outside your device
• Anonymous usage statistics may be processed by Google services worldwide
